Provincial Disaster Management Authority Punjab under the directions of Chief Minister Punjab after due consultation at all levels of Government designed and implemented emergency cash transfer program for the IDPs of North Waziristan through branchless banking of Zong i.e. TimePey in collaboration with Bank of Punjab. We the PDMA Punjab have so far distributed 168.831 Million rupees @7000 per head household within 5 days to 23845 families and the process is continuing. In addition to cash assistance PDMA Punjab will provide “Eid Gift Hampers” i.e. One best quality wash and wear shalwar kameez for male, one crinkle suit for female, one toy for baby boy and baby girl with Hilal and candy land sweets pouch in each hamper.

We have sent 141 truck load of relief goods also which contained both food and non-food items. We at PDMA Punjab are committed to respond to any challenge.
